Do you ever wake up feeling more tired than when you went to bed? 😴
Maybe you hit snooze three times, drag yourself out of bed, and spend the rest of the morning feeling groggy…
Or you manage to get 7-8 hours of sleep, but still find yourself waking up exhausted.
Well if one of your goals is to lose weight, then you could be unknowingly sabotaging your efforts.
The problem might not be how much sleep you’re getting — it’s the quality of your sleep that counts.
Here’s the secret to waking up refreshed: it starts hours before you go to bed.
By tweaking a few things in your evening routine, you can set yourself up for better sleep — and that means more energy when you wake up.
Try these three tips tonight:
1. Unplug from Screens 30 Minutes Before Bed
The blue light from phones, tablets, and TVs can mess with your body’s production of melatonin — the hormone that helps you fall asleep. Swap your screen time for reading a book, journaling, or doing a light stretch.
2. Establish a Wind-Down Ritual
Take a warm shower, drink a cup of herbal tea, or try 5 minutes of deep breathing. These kinds of activities signal your brain that it’s time to slow down and get ready for sleep.
3. Stick to a Steady Bedtime
Your body craves routine, so try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day — even on weekends!
You’ve probably heard all of these things before…
But they are SO important, and most people aren’t doing them! That’s why I wanted to send out this public service announcement :-)
You deserve to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to CRUSH your day…
And it all starts by doing a few simple things the night before.
Hope you found this reminder helpful!
Make it an amazing day,
